"Citizen Autistic" is a pro-acceptance documentary and you can watch it for free on hulu as long as you have a proper internet connection. It covers some of the problems with Autism Speaks, the JRC, and self-advocacy in general. Definitely worth a watch.

Damn! Can't get it in Canada. I will look around and see if it's available somewhere else. It looks interesting.

I think it's available on Amazon as a dvd, although I'm hoping it gets to Netflix or Blinkbox (uk).

The filmmaker sent me a DVD of this film and I watched it a little over a month ago. It was interesting.

Try Hola Better Internet. I've used it before to watch Hulu.

Hola worked but now it's telling me "it's not available at this time." I will try again. Thanks. :)

I'll watch it as soon as I'm done playing some Halo 5 Beta for today.

I wonder, has anyone considered doing a documentary specifically on Autism Speaks and their ethical violations?

EDIT: Read another description of the film, and it seems to focus on doing just that.

I watched it yesterday. It was really interesting. I think I'll start recommending to people to help them get a better idea of the Autism Community and see Autism Speaks in a new light.
