A solution to anti-immigration?

As with the recent German protest and someone's rebuttal that immigrants were needed to pay for the care of an ever-increasing elderly population... well, what if they paid their pensions instead before their march? People often dissociate any kind of logic in these 'arguments'... like, literally, it wouldn't be a surprise if immigrants were blamed for global warming at this point, or just 'X'. That's putting it politely.

Id say grant undocumented immigrants Citizenship at the cost of a thorough background check followed by a 1 year probation of no criminal activity such as theft embezzlement fraud assault robbery etc!

Why not just let immigrants stay in their own countries?

Seems like immigration is a failure on all practical accounts:

it steals people that should be helping where they come from
it's only helping a small amount
it creates social pressure on both sides

The plus of helping out a few people is fairly small in the scheme of it all.

(This is of course referring to immigration on a larger scale. Not the odd family moving now and again.)

I think the point is that if people want to live wherever they should. It's not like any country is 'stealing' people from other countries.

Europe would be really, really crowded if all the white folks came back .

Sadly, it doesn't work like that. Most countries ban me from moving there because I'm autistic; that ain't fair, but that's life.

I say they're stealing if they're choosing ones that have educations and whatnot -- they'd be far more useful to where they come from in a practical standpoint.
