I can fake sincerity, is that close enough?

I can sort-of fake shy, silent NT. What this amounts to is not scratching my palms or neck when excited.

It seems to work. No one ever mentions anything about autism when talking to me, but they could just be trying not to be rude.

I put the most effort when I'm buying something. I just place the desired object on the counter with the money, and say 'I want this thing please.'

If I had to "fake" a neurotypical ID, that would mean I'd have to pretend I was emotionally cold; or as the NTs say..."clinical".

As an Aspie, I find that hard to do. I'm to intensely emotional to pull it off.

No I cannot....though I think in the right contexts people just think I am stoned, or a little tipsy which admittedly I am at times so not entirely accurate, so won't notice the weirdness till I am sober and it cannot be attributed to those things.
