I have suffered from facial tics off and on for the past 25-30 years or so. They come and go, and I have never really been able to pick up some sort of pattern that makes them start or stop-like feeling stressed in my life or anything like that. They just seem to appear at times. Right now they are kind of bad. I try my hardest to hide them from people, but I probably am not very well.

Is there any good way to get rid of tics? Medicine or some OTC herb or anything like that?

Thanks for the information. The medications used for tics don't sound very pleasant

I'm currently taking Haldol & Neurontin for other issues & I haven't really noticed any side-effects but I'm on a lower dose. Meds can affect each person differently so it'll be a good idea to discuss em with a doc & you can always try another if one doesn't work or causes undesirable side-effects.
