Did you ever lied to peers or friends in order to brag yourself.

e.g. you parents for for whatever reasons forbade you to watch certain TV Program, because is too mature for you or have incorporate content.

But you did not want to leave before your friends on good little boy / girl, so you pretended that you watched the program, when in fact it is not true.

I told a group of cis girls that I worked at a glue factory with that had a big orgy at my house over the weekend. I was 21 at the time and I didn't want them to find out about my gender issues. I was tired of them asking if I've ever been in love and if I've ever had sex.

At what age? I think it is a natural indiscretion of youth to fabricate and embellish their own existence, but the older one gets the less inclination or need there is to indulge in such behaviors,.. unless ego dominates the process. Generally speaking, wisdom is the companion of aging. The wise have no need to artificially prop themselves up. Not all people age so gracefully.
