It's supposed to be some sort of electrical device you put against your head to stimulate part of your brain thus relieving depression.

FDA wrote:
The Fisher Wallace Stimulator is indicated for treatment of depression, anxiety and insomnia in adult substance abuse patients who have failed to achieve satisfactory improvement from one antidepressant or sleep medication at or above the minimal effective dose and duration in the current episode, or are unable to tolerate such medication.
Unfortunately, there are problems ...

1) People who have no real medical training (such as chiropractors, herbalists, and acupuncturists) are "prescribing" this device to anyone who can pay for it.

2) People seem to be using it to treat themselves for headaches, motion sickness, erectile dysfunction, joint pain due to arthritis, nausea, inattentiveness, fatigue, discomfort due to PMS/PMT, back pain, misaligned chakras, yin-yang imbalance, and just about any other woo-woo complaint that they can think of.

3) According to the BBB website, the manufacturer seems reluctant to refund the purchase price to dissatisfied customers.

Personally, I wouldn't buy it, nor would I entertain the thought of buying it; but I won't try to stop anyone else from buying it, either.

Smells like a scam to me. It makes me think of The Jetsons cartoon.

the fact that they reference studies that have to do with other CES devices that aren't their own is a red flag. The fact that I opened one of the studies and it was just a photocopy of a piece of paper with the study on it is another big red flag. The fact that the FDA doesn't want you using them means that they're unproven which is another red flag.
