Meanwhile, should we come under some form of terrorist attack because of this action, Republicans, Fox News etc will blame Obama and the Liberals for failing to protect American lives, just the same way they did after they rejected requests for additional funding to secure the embassy in Benghazi when American lives were lost and right wingers blamed Obama and Hillary for failing to protect American lives.

being as like 85-90% of DHS is required, they will still work, so if we come under attack it will be business as usual. small offices of paper work pushers might get to have a non paid vacation, but the vital stuff will continue to run and get back pay when funded.

Obama cares more about international trespassers than the Americans whom he loves to divide.
Another shut down will be like the last one but without veterans memorials being unnecessary barricaded.

DHS doesn't make us safer, it makes us less free. The entire department should be abolished.
