^^^^ Weird how some people probably still believe it's wrong to represent a face. Take Islam for instance where they don't want to see any pics of Mohammed? Surprising really that there were no objections to all the various statues and monuments built e.g. Mount Rushmore.

If one of my nieces had a faceless doll I'd want to give it a face. 8)

I learned that Vegemite-flavoured chocolate is apparently about to become a thing in Australia:

Apparently it goes on sale 1 June. I'd buy some, just to see what it tastes like.

1 sq.mi. equals 640 acres, exact. Now, my calculator's units converter says 1 sq.mi. = 639.997440003 acres. I did some research on the internet and both seem to be correct. There are two kinds of mile but unfortunately I can't any more find the explanation.

Something that I learnt yesterday, is that there used to be a cartoon series about James Bond's nephew. It was called James Bond Jr and it was on in 1991.

I learned, in researching for one of the Off The Wall games, that there are no Japanese cities beginning with the letter 'P', or indeed containing this letter. So there is presumably no letter 'P' in the Japanese language.

This is something I learned a while ago, but... earthworms, which are supposed to be every gardener's best friend, are really an invasive species here in North America.

I never heard of earthworms causing problems for other species and that they fertilize the soil by eating dead organic material, so does that mean any plant or animal that's not native an invasive species?

Of course, my ancestors were Euro-Caucasian, so I guess we're just one big fat white invasive species. :(

The letter 'P' does exist in (transliterated) Japanese. I wasn't able to find any Japanese cities starting with 'P', but there are some that do contain the letter – Sapporo, for example.

I learned that I apparently need more than 7 hours of sleep to function. :(

Okay! 8 o'clock, time to go to bed.

G'night, people. :P

Thanks for that, Murihiku. :D

I suppose the existence of the word Nippon as the Japanese word for 'Japan' should have been a bit of a clue, though according to Wikipedia, even this is often pronounced 'Nihon'.
