Hullo new forum, I just joined today and rather than be a 'lurker' I thought I'd come here right away to introduce myself.
I came across the site from a mention on Ambitious About Autism.
I'm female, live in the UK and am in my thirties. I am undergoing diagnosis for ASD although there's quite a wait ahead before anything meaningful will happen.
I was pleased to find such a vibrant forum, it seems to be pretty international with a mix of people, which is always good. I am looking to connect with other people to learn more about this condition, also to see if there are ways to cope better with the challenges of life, the universe and everything, that I've not yet tried.
I live with my partner and our three kittens (aaah, yes, but also aaargh!). I like to sew, play around with data and debate about politics. Very excited about the upcoming election. Very excited indeed.
