Oh....right, about the thread's title: aren't you afraid?

That cookie just made my day, and it's only 3 AM.

And nah, I ain't afraid. It'd be like being afraid of never finding a four leafed clover.

Plus boys have cooties.

You have plenty of time to meet someone who is 'right' for you, but there might be some compromises required with expectations. Someone pointed out to me recently that at 32 I have a whole life ahead of me, that within a lifetime it is still a relatively young age.
Its better to wait and be with the right person, or no person, than to be with the wrong person, imo.

Oh, then I guess that once you get your cooties infestation under control, then you just might, maybe, be a more attractive person and not end up on the shelf. I hear that a lot of men resolve this by waxing their chest &back hair, you should try that, apparantly men dont feel any discomfort during this process.

^ There's almost an absolute consensus among women regarding men have to get rid of back hair and I do.

There's absolutely no consensus regarding chest hair tho, and it's a pretty confusing realm, some say they love it (and not just few) - some of those even object to the idea of removal as long it's not a coat, - some are neutral about it - others don't prefer it even some hate it too much. Generally speaking, the late 20- 30+ more likely to like it, the younger ones likely not much but it's not always the case.

And while you think it's not discomfort, you're wrong, it's very itchy for weeks while they grow, not the same feeling for back hair.

I wish there's a clear social norm regarding this like the women's legs and men's back, at least you don't get confused about what most like.

Yeah, clear social norms, yipee... Its your body, do as you please. But seriously, that cootie issue is not going to be resolved by itself, perhaps you could try all over threading, lol.
