Grabbing someone, is assault. Yes it can be worse if there are sharp implements about, yet it's still assault either way.

Even more disturbing is the reasoning, that the child is like "Oscar the grouch", on the basis of what exactly? And how does that permit the assault? This is also after coming to the teacher for help.

They need more training on autism by going back to school or reading books
