Well, it's cheaper than what everyone else has been putting down.

Well, in Hungary it's 285,28HUF/liter. That means: $5,965/gallon. Now that's why I'm not planning to have a car.

My mum had to stop driving her car, because of the gas prices.

  cockney rebel you know perfectly well it is called petrol, gas is the third state of matter and it is clearly a liquid.

over here 1 us gallon = 3.785 L and 1 pound = 2 dollars (thank mr bush for the great economy   ) we pay about 90p a litre so £3.41 a us gallon and that is $6.82 dollars a gallon though take into account that our petrol is octane 98 and i was surprised with the crappy quality US petrol has (don't bother with spark plugs just let it auto-ignite, or even better use a diesel engine :P :P maybe if it was any worse you call it high-cetane petrol :P :P :P)

It's about thirty to fourty cents more if it's near a major freeway or highway (such as I-74), but otherwise it's pretty cheap. Although we have had plenty of circumstances where it's been over three dollars per gallon. Plus they raise it when there's a billion tourists here for sporting events, such as the Indy 500, the Colts, the Pacers, and so on.

I owe this thread an update:

Gas prices north of Seattle on the Freeway....

3.33 87 oct
3.43 89 oct
3.55 92 oct

3.03 Diesel

Image
Prices are a little lower off the main roads.

It's been in the 3.90$s and 3.80$s for the last few weeks. Today it was 3.95$ for 89 octane and 3.98$ for 87 octane. My Nissan Sentra that gets over 38mpg is saving me a lot of money. A few times it has been over 3$ but never stayed for more than a week or two.
