I found a site that seems to have fairly accurate IQ tests so I thought to post it here for anyone to take. Let me know how you do. Take at least two tests and then average them out.

I got quick iq: 144; can anyone explain to me the reasoning behind the last two? I can't figure it out
matrixA: 135
sequence: 136
dominoes: 124
average 134.75

I always get about the same on these sort of IQ tests, around 125... give or take 10.

The sequence 125... quick 144. Just got the last one wrong; I had more time but just guessed on it.

I want to take a real IQ test.

I took a no-kidding, professional IQ test (for acceptance into a private school) when I was around 11 and scored 136. Every IQ test I've taken thereafter I score terribly on. I think it's because the test I took was empirical and did a lot of logic/reasoning and verbal whereas the tests I've taken since have emphasized patterns, shape recognition, etc, which I'm abysmal at. I usually end up scoring exactly 100 on those, no matter how hard I try or how serious I take it.

Quick test: 140
MatrixA: 110

It's obvious that the quick test isn't very accurate... I know for a fact I am not that clever :P.

Ok, so maybe I am wrong that this is accurate, but it seems to be more realistic than just about any other online IQ test that I have seen. I thought that pattern recognition correlated to reasoning abilities but maybe I am off on that too. I have not taken a proctored IQ test before so excuse my ignorance. I simply googled this site and found several forums from people stating that their score on this site was very close to their official proctored IQ test. Anyhow, it is, IMO, fun and so I thought to share it with you guys.

98 on sequences and 119 on the quick test. I was a little lazy and distracted.

Sequence: 120

Quick: 144 ....missed the last one....I noticed a pattern that wasn't the right one....short line on bottom of square is not the right pattern....

MatrixA: 118 guessed the last few....

Dominos: 94 clicked randomly.....guessing randomly still puts me in normal range.....only got six right

My IQ keeps dropping. Haha. Another 40 years and I'll be mentally ret*d.

I'm in the middle of taking the exams now.

Sequences 130
quick 136

But before I go on, I've been trying to understand the answers. All the rest of them, I can see why the right answer is the right answer, but what about the last one on the quick test?

I know the answer, because I clicked back and forth trying all the combinations, but it still doesn't make sense. The second to last choice, I can see it being different because it is the only one with the tips of the curve are level horizontally. But what about the last one, what makes it substantively different than the others?

After typing this, I see that the last one is the only one to expose an entire side of the square to the outside, I guess that is it. If it ain't, then I give up. I'm going on to the next test.

I'll do more later, got to do a little work today.

MatrixA 143
MatrixB 130

I missed number 1, but that was what we call a stupid mistake, so if I had gotten that one right my score would have been 146.
