I never went to my prom, though I had 2 chances... in grade 11 in Quebec, and grade 12 in Ontario. :D I didn't have nyone to go with, though I had some male acquaintances who had the potential to get happy with me, as we were very alike. I was too self-conscious and didn't have any friends, especially in grade 11, so it just wasn't worth it. Tell me about yours; did you go? Was it a disaster? Did you go with another nerd? Did you have blood dumped on your head? :D

s**t.
I want to erase it from my memory.
Worst decision I ever made was to listen to the idiots who made me go.

Cummon, tell me about it? Get rid of the PTSD! Did someone dump blood on your head? Or sewage? Did people set you up? Or force you at gunpoint? Cummoooooon! We all love stories here! :D

A few girls asked me and I was like NO!

Then some girl wouldn't stop crying the night before because she really wanted to go with me so I decided to go.

It was LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME.

I was about to go with a box of raisin bran!

In fact, I am holding a box of raisin bran in one of my graduation pictures.

The photographer was weirded out.

Can't get enough of that fiber.

They're all going to laugh at you.

They're all going to laugh at you....

Actually mine wasn't so bad. I clung to my little group of friends and ended up having a better time than expected.

I went to my prom with my girlfriend at the time. It was pretty lame. I'm not a particularly social/talkative guy, and neither was my girlfriend at the time. We'd hang out at the table and then we'd go to the dance floor and awkwardly dance for a while. Despite both of us being pretty good musicians, neither of us were good at dancing. Kind of surprised me. The prom kind of sucked. It was only after the prom did we have much fun. :)

Never went to one! And I'm not regretful, I think it would've been pretty lame.

I doubt I'll go to prom. I went to two dances in high school: homecoming (red wine all down my white dress; bottle of orange juice thrown at our group, hitting one girl really bad in the ear) and winter formal (all of thirty people there, less than half of them in formal). Besides, they want our prom to be Wizard of Oz themed, which, if anything, detracts from any attraction it may have had.

I went to the prom junior and senior year, both times i did not know what to do, i went with an NT both years, i did not know where to place hands, or dance, it was horrible, did not even know what to talk about, where normally we were friends and talked alot, that was different, in the end, it was a waste of time, money. Currently, after many years, im seeing the girl i went to the senior prom with, she said i acted as if i was not interested, but now i learned stuff and want to make it work.

Prom sucks!

Prom? What prom? Oh, you mean that rite of passage in which I was supposed to buy an obscenely-priced dress and spend the evening at some boring dance being scared stiff due to social anxiety and getting laughed at for "trying" to dance?

Heck no I didn't go. Wasn't high school enough torture in and of itself?
