Although blue eyes always seem to be in style, I know there's a fair degree of difference between actual personal tastes.

Myself, I've tried to find blue eyes pretty, and some shades I do like -- any funky shades like really light blue or really dark blue -- but in general, I just can't find blue eyes especially pretty. Don't get me wrong, they're nice, but they just usually don't "do anything for me".

I know I'm in the minority here, but that doesn't change the fact that I've ALWAYS loved big, dark, brown eyes that I can lose myself in. I develop the hardest crushes for such girls. I'm the same way with dark hair -- I just can't find blonde hair very sexy. It's the most attention getting, because it reflects the most light, but beyond a certain medium level of attractiveness, it's just not surreal enough for me, I guess. I "like" it, but I think that may be society's influence.

 Funny that I married a redhead!

Well, I didn't mean to tip the votes here.
I have chocolate brown eyes with black hair, I am Italian and French, so I'm more attracted to blonds with blue eyes, but beautiful is beautiful no matter what eye or hair color.

Ragtime, I despise you, but I like this thread.
Both brown and blue eyes can potentially drive me wild, it depends more on how interesting they are to me. Describing exactly what it is that makes me feel this way would be impossible, either I find them attractive or I dont.

I dated one woman with blue eyes,
and they always seemed weak to me.

But, my sweet thing also has blue eyes.
Sorta.

I have green eyes, so I'll go with green.

I don't even look at eye color. I just care about a prospective mate's beliefs and interests.

I had a strong mutual crush with a blue-eyed blonde cutie -- that is to say, we saw each other one-on-one six times, and romance was heavily in the air, but nothing quite developed. Religious differences ended it.

And I "dated" -- that is to say, pretty much in name only -- another blue-eyed blonde girl when we were both in our early teens. I say "in name only" because it was almost entirely a long-distance relationship, over two years. Though we did kiss once.

I guess I did like their blue eyes, actually, but mostly because I liked them. Liking or not liking a person makes basically all the difference as to whether you find them attractive. So I guess I don't have a bias either way -- blue, brown, whatever. My ex-wife's eyes are "hazel" -- greenish brown on the outside and orange around the pupil.

Yeah. Eyes don't really matter too
much to me. Though I can still remember
the eyes of my ex's better than their faces.

Funny thing.

Anyhow, I prefer red eyes.

My ex-wife had that aphasia condition or whatever it's called where she couldn't recognize faces, even of people she knew quite well. She said she had to memorize things about their faces in order to identify which person she was looking at. She herself has a beautiful face.

I was going to say red too but now I can't because you did. :P

I now like white eyes.

White looks funny to me. As does silver.

That reminds me, I almost went out with a girl in 8th grade who had blue eyes, and my brother took a photo of her when she was over at his house with us, and it gave her the most awesome case of red-eye you've ever seen. That combined with her voracious expression made you either want to run to her or from her, depending on your tastes.

I really don't care about eye color but my sort-of GF has blue eyes, so I voted for blue.

Green eyes are my favourite, I think. Although blue eyes taste just as good if you add a little tabasco
