I'm always pulling at my shirts and pants to "adjust" them, and I'm always picking hair and fuzzy things off my shirts.

…And I thought I was the only one in the world with these problems!
It’s so good to know that I am not alone!
I can relate to most of what is discussed in this thread, for instance:
1. I am constantly readjusting my clothes, every few minutes sometimes.
2. I have a very hard time finding clothes that I like, textures that are not offensive and material that does not make me feel too claustrophobic.
If I do find something I like, I love it for about a week or so, than I can’t stand it and end up going shopping for a new wardrobe fairly often. This of course is inconvenient and can be costly even though I shop at thrift stores.
It’s a repetitive cycle that seems to be getting worse and is really starting to bother my family.
I know that part of my discontent with clothes is related to sensory/ocd issues but also could have to do with being self-conscious about how the world perceives me and what I wear.
Having said that, I need to be equipped with strategy or tetchiness for dealing with these problems. Have any of you found any solutions? :?:
I would appreciate any tips or advice!
Thanks for listening! :D
