I have a very dry, twisted sense of humor. Reading that aspies didn't have one sort of threw me, like perhaps it wasn't a good fit after all. But I'm certain that you don't have to possess ALL of the characteristics of an aspie to be one.

maybe I need to go get *professionally* diagnosed Image

nonetheless people laugh at my humor. i'd prefer a derisive smile but eh

No Jaded, I wouldn't worry. I have not laughed so much in years since joining WP. Many of us in the ex Dino cafe think of what we have discussed and later laugh aloud in the most inappropriate places.

Anyone agree with me about Sarah Silverman?

I don't. She was diagnosed with clinical depression though.

She's also not funny.

To me, some of her performances are funny as heck and others are not. Some of it is insulting. But overall I adore her.

I've seen her in interviews and she pretty much acts like she does in her shows. She is so awesome!

I have a feeling that Jon Stewart may have some aspie qualities (especially when he puts on a clip of some politician saying some really wordy, complex sentence and Jon summarizes it in less than 10 words)

Then again, that may just be some aspie writer on his staff...

I suspect Larry David, producer/star of "Curb Your Enthusiam" and producer of "Seinfeld."

I wish to be a comedian when I'm older.

More stand-up though. ;)

If I had an audience and a camera, then I would put it on my Youtube.

Right now, it has 5 crappy videos of me singing about nothing, and attempting to parody pop songs.

I'm an Aspie and I love the movie Cable Guy with Jim Carrey. I tell people this is my favorite comedy movie and they can't believe it. I definitely think this movie has Aspie humor.

I think it's pretty hard to tell unless you've seen the person outside of their act. Some comedians pretend to be awkward, or speak in a strange way just because it makes the material funnier. They might not be that way in real life.
I'm still gonna add Colbert to the list, though.
I don't know if he's AS or not, but I'd like to claim him
