syzygyish, why are you randomly quoting me, but not saying anything about the quote?

ShadesOfMe,that was a sad sarcastic little joke that isn't funny at all.
You said "Talk to people you know outloud." & I said...
silence

I'm sorry I keep offending you on WP.
It isn't intentional or malicious.
Its just...I come sideways sometimes on somethings.
Like a lot of comedians,I suffer anxiety, depression & nervous tension.
This drives me to laugh at everything
(usually off a cliff haha)-you see-I can't help it,
I look for the humour in the situation first & usually don't look much deeper
This gets me in trouble ocasionally but please let me reassure you it is never personal
or at your expense(well, sometimes  I promise to stop that)
Whenever you see me post,I am prob. making a joke
and I'm sticking to threads where doing that is an open invitation.
Like you said to Annubis, can I be your friend?I want to be.
I have been just assuming(do you know what happens when you assume?)
that everyaspy just is & I want to keep on doing that!

peace & love from Australia

to crying miserably in a gutter

You aren't offending me! Of course we can be friends. I was just wondering, cuz you didn't say anything.

I saw a movie on TV about a guy in a Japanese POW camp in WWII. He was kept in solitary confinement for a long time, beaten, alternately starved and fed, denied mail from home, etc. He spent his alone time building his dream house in mental visual images on a blank wall. He was freed by Allied forces invading the camp. After the war, he built the house.

I would let my mind wander at random, as I do now.

make hand puppets with your socks and put on a puppet show!!
make up new words, or new meanings for old words.
breakdance to imaginary music.
carry on a conversation with yourself outloud.
name all the objects in the room.. and if there are tiles on the ceiling etc, name them all, too. make up life stories for each of them.
pick a letter randomly from the alphabet and think of as many words as you can that starts with that letter.

my dad's suggestion:

get some toilet paper wet, throw it on the ceiling, and play connect-the-dots.

Best idea ever!

You could gnaw your hair off to make wigs and use bodily fluids for pigments. And your feet would stay warmer! Very productive.

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Count the rocks.

Solitary at least gives you plenty of time to think to yourself...loudly or not.

Plot revenge on people who wronged you, if you were falsely imprisoned.

Think how appropriate it was that Joseph Pilates invented his exercises while watching the cats that prowled around outdoors while he was incarcerated in a prison camp.

Develop a split personality, and argue with it.
