Not actually correct. What is now Kuwait was once a province of the Persian Empire, then later part of the Ottoman Empire; but when the British took the area over in the wake of WWI, and created the nation of Iraq from three separate sections of the Ottoman Empire, they also created Kuwait as another, separate nation. Nobody cared much until oil was discovered under the sands.

One of the sticking points in negotiations between the Writer's Guild of America (WGA) and the Association of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) is the demand of the WGA to double payment to scriptwriters for DVD sales of movies and TV shows - from the current level of four cents per DVD, to eight cents each.

Hmmm... while the average disabled person who needs care and all is costly like all medical stuff these days that number seems incredibly high to me, tho I have no stats to counter yours so I guess I am doing nothing more then speculating.

My logic (and I am willing to admit may be faulty) is that their are so many other issues that affect people other then just disabilityes, even the serious ones. If disabled people get such an incredible amount of investment for everything, what about other people with different problems, it just seems if your statistics are true then so many others get such a disproportionate amount if assistance. The average prisoner in the US costs $22,000 a year. What about familes that are poor? Homeless people. Veterans and the assistance they receive. Collage students? What about people who take in foster children, or the children themselfs who suffered the loss of parents? How about retirees who worked their whole lives or faught in wars? What about investment in the future?

You see, I know many of the expences you incure are the exact same as everyone else. Schooling is the same for instance even tho their may need to be some accomodations for you comapired to another student, those accomodations wont be outragiously expencive and are shaired with others who will need them too, not just yourself.

$2,000,000 a year investment per year for someone in your situation is a hell of alot, I just have such a hard time beleiveing it is all, then again I did not beleive plenty of other things and those turned out to be true so I dont know. My main problem really as far as beleiving this statistic is that for instance is that it would take me 80 years to pay for 1 year of investment for you. Their are soo many people in the US that are disabled, some less then, some more then you. On top of all the other stuff that taxes goes to (much of it in the US goes to the military) assisting those with disabilities is not incredibly high on the budget last time I checked. I really dont think their are enough funds in the US to pay millions of dollars for those who have disabilities like yours, their could be but then we would not have a military or other programs that everyone consumes equally and pays for equally.

Finally what it comes down to is that everyone wants what is comming to them, its a hard world and working and keeping afloat while getting dependents thru life is so much harder now more then ever. With all the problems out their ranging from social security, to the deficit, to the manufacture and development of new weapons and tools for war, for those veterans who get financial help after their fight, to schools, infrastructure and just familes that have a hard time struggling, I just dont think reality would allow for millions to be spent on the average person with a profound disability, eather people would not have it when their is so much with relativly so little money avalible. Plus it would be impossible for working class familes to pay their taxes with such massive amounts of money spent on individuals, let alone everything else like a massive expencive military.

Sorry to blabber on, I am not trying to offend ya by saying your stats are BS, just seems while SOME may get the money, most simply will not, this nation will do what it can for everyone that needs it, but wont do much more, its just the cold hard reality of the world, if this was true I think working class families would go bankrupt and loose everything, heh.

OK... so on a quick side note I just wanna say that I am amazed that you have such a positive outlook on life, you seem like a happy individual who maintains a good productive life, you are 1:1,000,000 man and I just wish others would have the attitude in life you do. Indeed, you are making the most of your life, and I like that alot!

I just wonder tho... take just your average joe, and take someone else like yourself, now the global governments make an investment in everyone really if you think about it, how many thousands, even tens of thousands of dollars did this average joe consume last year for everything. I just wonder if that $2,000,000 also includes TOTAL investment in ya, basicly how much military service did u consume (your shair of the military's protection) your use of infrastructure, your social security, medical EVERYTHING. This is very far fetched indeed, I just wish this stat had a sort itemized list to see where it all comes from and where it all goes, I am curious is all.

Jeeze... you respond so quickly to posts, man you are everywhere, hehe.

Walt Disney admired Salvador Dali's art. He invited Dali to do the artwork for a proposed animated movie, which was never finished. He even had Dali over to his home in California.

I read an article in Cat Fancy about rockers who were and are cat lovers. Freddie Mercury was among them.

H.P. Lovecraft was a cat fancier(!) Once, while visiting a friend, a kitten fell asleep on his lap. He refused to leave until the kitten woke up.

Ferrari has always manufactured extremely small numbers of any model they made. The 365 California Spyder comprised only 14 cars ! !

The Starlight Express production in Bochum, Germany is the most watched musical in the world.

The Really Useful Group was given that name because of Starlight Express. Andrew Lloyd Webber originally wanted the show to be about the stories by Rev. W. V. Awdry, and to show his enthusiasm named his new company after one of the most common phrases in the original stories.

Bram Stoker's "Dracula" was not a hit. The book didn't sell very well at all. It wasn't until the 1920's when the stageplay was re-written, casting Dracula as an attractive, seductive man that it became popular.
