I just got a new kitten and I cannot for the life of me I can't think of a name.

She's a mostly black, tortoiseshell kitten, with patches of soft orangy-brown markings. I don't have a picture, but I searched google and I found this cat http://www.petsynergy.com/rescue2.jpg which is the closest resemblance I could find. Her markings aren't as bright as the cat's in the picture, but her face is very similar.

I was originally going to call her Sooty (named after my old cat) as I was told she was all black with a tiny bit of brown on her head, but after seeing her markings, I decided that Sooty perhaps wasn't the best fit.

So, does anyone have any suggestions?

Several years ago, I got a persian cat and did not name it for 2 weeks because I could not think of a name. I eventually named him POTATO CAKES, because he was brown on top and white on bottom, like a hash brown. Today I think the name is kind of stupid, so I just call him potato.

Name it on their personality though, not just how they look. My cat is definitely a Clemintine, though most cats are. She has the sweetest soul though, and she just IS a Clemintine :D (Did I spell Clemintine right?)

I intend to, but I still need a few suggestions. I'm hopeless at naming pets

She's outgoing, playful, a bit of a risk taker and can be a little clumsy at times :P

I like everyones' suggestions so far. Keep 'em coming. I'm listing all my favourites and then my mum and I will decide together from that list.

Isn't that insults for a cat instead of names?
