What are some of your fav pastimes and memories from this site?

Here are some of mine.

~ The member picture thread.. what more can I say, It is an awesome idea.

~ PM wars with Sean.

~ TeelaClarke's posts - manages to crack me up while trying to be offensive.

~ The great TAKFISH debate. Lisa Simpson does not have AS.

~ The WP when jman and ecstacia were regulaly in there.

Last but not least - realised i'm not alone when it comes to issues. I think one of the earliest times I remember this is when civet said she sneezed upon looking at bright concrete as well. I've never known anyone else to do that.

Learning more about myself

Getting to offload my opinions in a place where people don't act like a bunch of yes men like they do in person, and getting to have a discussion about my opinions.

Making onine friends :D

Meeting other cool people to talk to and debate with on WP's forums

Debating with Bec :)

The picture threa is cool because you can find out what the people you are talking to look like.

Sorely in need of contradiction, to bring me back into contact with ideas that are a little more "normal" than my own.

The StarShip Wrongplanet was always one of the best things for me. It took interesting topics and made them into literally fantasic amaglglations that would boggle the mind.

Starship Wrongplanet was really fun! I really miss reading GH's posts aqnd having no idea what I was reading. They were mesmerizing, and it was fun trying to understand him.

TAFKASH's sense of humor was always good.

And last but not least, me forgetting the topic's point halfway through writing my post. I still do this, because even after re-reading it I have no idea what the topic is. Oh! Found it!

I remember that really long debate I was part of in the Politics & Religoin (etc.) forum. I think it started a few days before I joined, and I found it nice to finally be able to debate something that's seen as taboo in highschool.

I actually just liked the feel of the site from some time ago. With fewer members it was easier to get to know everyone.

I also miss seeing Magic's long, insightful posts.

There's a lot of stuff that I don't remember, too, but I haven't been around here quite as long as a lot of you have. A few things I've enjoyed:

~ Making online friends and being able to chat with them over e-mail and stuff, not just in the forums.

~ Learning about what other people think and having them question me, which has forced me to search for reasons to why I believe what I do and has sparked some very informative and deep conversations with people I know in real life over these topics

~ Learning to become more sympathetic to the needs of others

~ Discussions about books and movies with other people

~ Heated debates in the Politics, Philosophy and Religion forum where I probably made a fool of myself ;) and having to ask for help to figure out what was going on in the thread (after posting)

~ Lastly, for the support I've gotten and the advice I've recieved about dealing with AS and its various problems.

I have not been here long enough to know. Though I have liked some of the debates I have had with fellow members.

I enjoy being really rude to people and getting away with it, because everyone is all kind and understanding. Hahahaha!

That's the funniest thing I've heard all day.

I'm the rude to people but only to people that ask for it.

I miss Paul B and Captain Brain, although they werent long-time contributors i agreed with a lot that they said and they seem to have level heads on their shoulders. Those where the best days of our lives.
