Rough drafting, showing your work, 'brainstorming', ugh, none of my teachers could EVER figure out how it could POSSIBLY be that somehow DOESN'T HAVE TO WRITE THINGS DOWN to form a coherent IDEA.... JEEZ!

Ick, yeah.

I'm glad most of my teachers figured me out really quick and let it slide.

I had a few math teachers who would give us partial credit on problems on tests if we had a wrong answer, but we showed that we were on the right track...so I'd try to jot down a very truncated "show your work" after figuring it out mentally.
