At work I mentioned taking someone ,who in my eyes, has slight learning difficulties with me to speed dating event. I probably mentioned him before. He socialises ok, does the smalltalk thing very well, and keeps his apartment spotless. He is neither dull or oddball. He is natural better a speller then myself, I had to work hard to improve mine. I have probably put him on a pedestal for being more NT them me. Both my workmates did say that other people tended to talk down to him a little, the same way one would talk to a small child or elderly.

Anyway I asked for there advice one said if I was thinking what she thought I was it would be a sick thing to do, using him so girls would think aahhh his sweet and as a way to get girls. Having AS is surely the hidden disability. Being mis understood like this is common with aspies because of the hidden lack of communication skills. No wonder why I wanted to be a bit like him in first place, I bet he doesn’t have the same problem.
