Terror Scarf

Quote:
The blogger called the garment "a regular adornment of Muslim terrorists appearing in beheading and hostage-taking videos".

Wasn't just 'a blogger' - there was a major campaign by neo-conservatives, who cant tell the difference between paisley and plaid. Michelle Malkin even got in on it, and Dunkin Donuts cancelled it to appease the angry war-mongers.

A scarf. Terrorist accessory. Ooooo-kaaaaaayy. :?

Imagine the outrage if they'd seen the poor lady emerge from her bathroom after a shower, towel wrapped around her head...

Rachel Ray and Yasser Arafat in cahoots, it boggles the mind, what is she going to do now that her cover has been blown.
I have an army issue keffiyeh, and it is also issued to solders serving in the middle east, now that must mean they are terrorists too

I thought it was crazy too, at first.
But then I read that a very similar scarf is worn by celebrating terrorists as a symbol of what they do. If it really is such a deliberate symbol of terrorists, then I can understand the concern. But as it is a different scarf, I think that concern is overblown. I like Michele Malkin's writing (surprise!), but don't read it much because it's so nearly my exact train of thought, that there's little new for me there except certain hard data which I usually find elsewhere first. Ann Coulter is much more entertaining, as is Rush.

Stupid man?

The blogger is female.

These are the same kind of scarfs you will see on coalition troops throughout the middle east. Even Prince Harry! (item 11)
