My view on people like this is simple don't give em the time of day. Seriously they only do this crap to stir up resentment or get anger if I dealt with them I would right back and tell them via a solicitor (lawyer) what I felt about them and carry on as normal don't give ignorant people like this a chance to be seen or heard they ain't worth it. If they do get press attention it means they are winning if they don't and most intelligent people would say this no one will give a damn about their misguided point of view.

Fortunately I don't think they are in the UK yet and I doubt are government even if it is so far left it's stupid would allow them to be around for too long. Discrimination Against Disability's Act would probably be the end of them here. They suck big time.

They changed their name to Autistica in the UK:
Autistica at the UK Charity Commission. (Look under "Charity framework".)

PS. Last I looked at Autism Speaks UK tentacle, I could have sworn it was http://www.autistica.org.uk/ (Registrant: Autism Speaks) that eventually degenerated its links into being http://www.autismspeaks.org.uk/ (Registrant: Nicole Vosnakis) - now it seems to be the reverse.

The "WebCHeck" (sic) at http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/ also gives a picture of Autistica.

And yet another curiosity - the whois for autistica.org.uk gives "Registrant type: UK Individual". I don't think "Speaks" is a very common surname in the UK (http://www.surnamedb.com/Surname/Speaks), but naming your child "Autism" seems completely in keeping with their policies.

Yeah well Lau my suspicion would say that someone in some kind of official capacity will get wind of it then give them a fright then they will disappear as quietly as they came. They won't last not here because once people realise what the intention is the press will probably maul them if needed. I don't personally have time for them or the site or anything connected with them. As my avatar states I would attempt to give a damn but the process failed so I don't give a damn for them at all! :D
