What about the percentage of failers in Mensa regarding FRT in contrast to the older test Ravens]? Do people find it harder or easier?

Puzzles are a bit tougher in Raven's advanced progressive matrices and they take more time to solve; test also has much longer timelimit. I think IQ scores between tests correlate something like 0.90 or so, means that they correlate very much. All "g-factor loaded" test correlate well with each other, people usually tend to get almost same results from FRT, cattell-cattell, Raven's APM etc... Difference is that other tests measure higher IQ's than others. More accurate tests need more time naturally.

Although I didn't mean to become tiring, you answered my question. Thanks again.

I did the test yesterday (Mensa Finland) and I could do all the questions from FRT, and had over 2 minutes to re-check. I quess that a couple of questions can go wrong for > 131 result... Max score from FRT can't be over 150, it wasn't that hard. Actually little too easy.

Results came here yesterday, and I got >135 :)... It means I got all correct. You get 135 if you have 1-2 mistakes, and >135 if there is none. In the same letter came also membership application, which I posted yesterday already.

Today I got my results too. Mine is 135 >= too! 1-2 mistakes do not influence the test ceiling, obviously. But I still do not know what is the maximum of mistakes for IQ 131 [Mensa level]. Congratulations to you. Beside my result it has both the symbols >=135 [135 higher or equal].

Congratulations to you too!:) I think 5 or 4 wrongs are max. For example:

4 wrong = 131
3 wrong = 133
2 wrong = 135
1 wrong = higher or equal 135
0 wrong = higher than 135

That's just a quess... Anyway, good work from both of us. It hasn't come clear to me yet that how I can join Mensa International's Forum. Is it only through subscription to Mensa journal; members of sub-Mensas doesn't have automaticly right to join...? Maybe there is some kind of discount to journal subscription for mensa members however.

Are you sure that the scale 135> [without =] exists ?

FRT is not age corrected. RAPM II (set) is age corrected.

Maybe ceiling is not affected by only one wrong answer to question.

Do you think it can be possible that depending on which question/-s you get wrong you get a different IQ score?

Did anyone from those who took FRT or RAPM prepare/practice before it in some way?
What previous experience in this kind of tests did you have and do you think that it affected your score?

I have taken this test here in Greece. You need to score 40-41 correct to be accepted. I got 38 or maybe 39 correct. My score 125IQ
