Yes, I am always concerned about my finances. I hate being in debt, although I like buying stuff. It's a constant struggle since I moved out on my own only fairly recently. I am also paranoid because my older siblings all had serious financial difficulties that I want to avoid.

Nowadays I get all excited about grocery shopping. Sad, eh? :x

I used to do it back when i had to live on welfare. It's just not enough to have money left to do anything fun. At the time i had to go to an unpaid job and drove 40 kilometres a day to get there. With the insanely high gas prices here, i used up more than 15% of my monthly welfare just to get to work and back home. So i had to buy grocerys at the cheapest stores etc to get by. Now that i've got a regular job i look at it maybe twice a month just to make sure that my saved money increases every month. I'd get really stressed out if i spend more money than i made. I've never once considered buying anything i can't afford to pay for right away.
