the most important thing in life is your duty. Whatever you are meant to do. At least so far as you are concerned, or anyone else. Most of the time, you are right, that is making relationships and bonding. But that is not the case with me, and I doubt it is the case with you. You may be called to higher duty, and do not be despaired because at this point in your life, the relationship thing is not working. You may have 10 years, you may have 100 years left to work that out, you don't know, you just have some time left. As for your duty, you have some purpose, as we all do, and your job is to find that purpose, the thing you are best at, and work at it on some grand level until you get things done; this is my advice to all Aspies on this forum.

Feeling connected/connection, to anyone or anything, including to oneself, the universe etc.

Most important things in life? Being accepted, understood, validated, allowed to be who you are, neurologically. Being able to accept others and tolerate who they are.

The most important thing is life is the thing that is most important to YOU. Not what other people think, not what God thinks or mainstream society. Whether it be money, love, health or bath tiles, its your choice. Whatever makes you happy (or any other emotion which you actively pursue) and helps you to justify you meaningless existence.

I don't disagree with that at all :) In fact, I may not do so well on a social level as some Aspies but, I do try my best though to maintain whatever friendship I have with people in general..

eh - people?

Others are the causes of all my problems. For many years I had a recurring dream that I was the only one left, bliss!

Most important thing.....to be interested. Most people are full of crap.

I don't think so.
I think it is happiness.
If you are happy without people, then who need 'em?
Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness!

The most important thing in life is to be yourself - no matter what other people try to turn you into, or would like to see you become.

Water; we couldn't live without it.

Death for when we have had enough of life.
