Is anyone on this site left handed?

Just out of curiosity and researching if there is a link between left handedness and AS.

New research shows there's a link between left-handedness and schizophrenia.

Btw, i am left handed and love it! Suspect i have AS also :)

I write with my left, throw with my right. So not sure if I'm considered left handed or not.

I'm left handed and have AS.

In fact, I'm the left-handed daughter of a left-handed daughter of two left-handed parents. In other words, my mother and both of her parents were left handed.

But the Aspieness is all on my father's side.

I'm considered ambidextrous. I can write with either hand but chose to be 'right handed' at writing due to it being less complicated (notebooks, seating, etc). I do however throw and use my bow left handed. I used to play tennis and I was able to do back and fore hands easily in either method, which some saw as cheating.

I'm left handed.

In fact, I just logged on with the intention of asking this same question. We think alike. I am curious as to the results.

I'm right-handed, but according to the dancing lady I'm right-brained, too, which I always thought was a contradiction. I thought right-brained meant left-handed.

My left hand is only slightly more useful than a hook.

Okay, all left handed geeks go to one side of the room and all right-handed geeks go to the other side of the room. All geeks who use both hands equally have to leave the room entirely.

I'm left handed, and it's kind of annoying.

Not only do typical things cater to right handed people, even some GAMES do. Popular titles such as Oblivion and Fallout 3 use a right hand dominate control style, and have no options to change it (lazy programmers). If I owned these games for the X-Box 360, I would have modded my controller itself to play them how I want to.

What is the statistic? 1 in 10 are left handed? I don't think it's hereditary either. My mother and her husband are both left handed, which is kind of odd to me. None of the people I've met are left handed, and yet the most left handed people I know personally are my mother and her husband.

I've read that left handed people are typically better than right handed people at using their non-dominant hand for more tasks. I can't relate at this moment with that though.

Me and my two brother's are all left handed. Me and my youngest brother are both diagnosed with AS, middle brother is diagnosed with ADHD. I'm actually left sided which means my dominant ear, eye, hand, foot are all on the left side.

I'm also a cross-dominant but I wouldn't exactly call myself ambidextrous because I have lousy fine motor coordination and don't do anything with either hand particularly well. I write left handed but throw a ball and generally do other large-muscle activities with my right, although my left arm is the stronger one.`I attribute this weirdness to bad wiring connecting the hemispheres of my brain.
