Do I ever not feel unwanted?
Left out I don't really care about since that implies activities and I'm not big on activities anyway.

It feels to me that everyone at school is in one big group and I'm like the only one that isn't in it. I find it difficult socialising with everyone else, which leaves people thinking negative of me. (hardly anyone in school axially knows I've got AS, they just think I'm stupid/ret*d) I'm always the last one to be picked in sports, and I never manage to get into groups for group work. Hardly anyone sits next to me and if anyone does it's only to try to annoy me throughout the lesson.

Sounds word for word like my school years. :( But it got better after school, when I gained some confidence and decided I was going to be myself and I didn't give a crap about what others thought of me. :) You'll get there.

I don't think it is exclusive for those of us on the spectrum. Like Rudolph, I'm often excluded from playing reindeer games.

I totally agree with all of the comments you guys have made. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who is left out- because we all are. I thank you guys for expressing your thoughts and feelings. :D

P.S.- Down with the neurotypicals! :x

That's exactly how I'll feel if I don't get picked to volunteer in any shows in Disney World this summer.

I can't say that I do.

Since I'm of the passive subgroup, I don't mind being left alone (conversely, I don't mind the opposite; I'm happy with either).

Yes, I do from time to time. When I do, I think of some of my friends that are totally depended upon others friendship. People running in and out of their houses, constantly, night and day.
When thinking of this, I feel glad to be left out. I have a real huge intimate sphere and can't stand being surrounded by people at all times.
