i wonder if i am unique in this regard.
I hate to be around people even when i am driving my car.
I always look for an open pocket to drive in, so i don't have to be around others.

I work nights and leave work about 3:00 a.m.. i am forever putting a 1/4 mile between the car in front of me and the car behind me. If someone gets any closer, i get nervous.

I stay away from other cars if I can... and yeah, sometimes it's so they don't have to hear me singing  ... but for the most part, I'm a pretty bad, oblivious driver. I regularly get honked at and have no idea why, I drive at 5 miles under the speed limit, I can't really hold a conversation and watch the road at the same time.

I often get very frustrated while driving because of a good deal of the inconsiderate drivers out there (reckless or even just plain rude). Driving has become a very unpleasant experience for me (well, when I had a license that is).

I also don't like to drive near other cars. I prefer as much space as possible.

I'm aggressive/anti-social.

I drive aggressivly to fight my way through traffic so I can get away from other drivers.
I'm almost always moving faster then everyone else on the road to get away from them.
But if it like bumper to bumper 80 mph traffic I just go with the flow and keep my distance because it's just to dangerous to fight in that crap.

I am a combination driver. I am considerate but assertive - I need my space. I work a lot of overnights so I can keep good distance between me and the other cars.

I do my best to avoid other cars. And pedestrians and etc (when I'm walking and such).

I hate driving near other people. I live in an area where people think turn signals are optional, so driving is very stressful for me.

I tend to drive fast because speed limits feel absurdly slow. It's ridiculous that some arbitrary limit is considered the maximum safe speed regardless of whether you're driving a 50,000 pound tractor trailer or a BMW M3.

I also drive fast to get away from other cars. I worry about the person in front of me slamming on their brakes, the person behind rear-ending me if I have to stop, or someone on the side drifting out of their lane. I also feel like I don't have enough space to maneuver in an emergency if other vehicles are around.
