It is the combination of unemployment benefit and housing benefit that is too high. Housing benefit is the culprit not unemployment benefit. Rent is much higher now than in the 80's.

You could be sensitive to light, so in the winter you suffer with the lack of light, and in high summer you suffer because of too much light. The long daylight hours can affect quality of sleep.
