Hot weather is miserable and makes my brain feel sluggish. Having moved to Chicago from Florida last year, the intensely cold, dry winter was heaven. Very brisk and invigorating.

I also had an extremely similar discrepancy. I know how you feel. Math is well within my grasp but not nearly as intuitive as language skills.
