I think "just be yourself" is ultimately very good advice..... but only if you are happy and confident about who you are.

I worked as an accountant before grad school. It's really easy, pay wells, and doesn't require much interaction with people.

I would recommend an entry level bookkeeping/accounting position. Some don't require any experience and the skills you get will help you later.

My nt friend told me that it is really hard to tell when I'm happy.

Maybe it really is hard to tell when you're happy. Who's to say?

I actually don't disagree with his assessment.
