I have only really known AS existed since March.

I am not offically diagnosed but I am pretty convinced I have it. Everything fits.

I am very nonverable.

My sisters did all my talking when I was little.

I can force myself to talk when I have to. I find when I am really overwelled I have a hard time talking.

It may be that I have had a major change in my life and just need time for it to set in. My whole rountine has changed.

I had felt like something had changed.

My life does not feel the same.

It's like I was set free. I also feel more alone but I know I have you guys.

I no longer feel the need to try and fit in ...

I'm 26 and I still have problems with touch as I did as a child. I don't even really hug my own family.
I do hug a good friend at work though.
You can't force it they have to want it.

Yes. I will usually ask for help if I need it.

I have a hard time with my bed too. It is never made and it drives my Mom nuts. And I am 26.

Sometimes I can barely get myself dressed.

My ideal life-

I would be living in a nice neighborhood/ reasonable nice car/married and have 2 or 3 kids.
I would have a Vet tech degree.
I would have 2 cats plus one dog. And I would have Josi ...

We have a autistic school here. Years ago my nieghbors little boy was autistic and my nephews twin brother is autistic- he is quite cute for a little guy.

I don't know anyone else who is.

I heve learned to be less nicer. I just stopped caring about some things. I dont like beign controlled or taken advantage of.
