I have a driver's liscence, but I haven't touched a car in months. I hate driving. I live in one of the few cities in this country where public transportation is a feasible alternative. When I do driv ...

Most of the therapists I've had were excellent. There was this one, though, who talked about herself more than I talked. She lasted two or three sessions.

I have gotten myself into an undesirable social situation. I am coming to embrace my Aspergers, and am no longer faking emotions neurotypicals expect me to have. This policy ran into a problem when I ...

I kind of see that as a good thing, actually. I have Asperger's, but the word "Asperger's" is so inelegant. I personally prefer the term "autism." It's a little easier to role off the tongue, anyway. ...

I get told that all the time. Thankfully, I live in a place where people only care about their own interests.

She's definitely to pop for my tastes, but I respect her because of how she got where she is. She's very smart, and basically fought her way to the top. She won't be popular forever, but I have a feel ...

I don't know how art schools differ from other institutions, but I can "tell" my professors about my AS in a formalized manner. I go to a national university in the DC area, and we have a Dissability ...

I loved getting away from high school. I had bad experiences there, and college was a fresh start. I wasn't even homesick, and I moved 500 miles away.

I know of one professor with Aspergers becaause he told me. We're great friends, and I go to him for advice on living in the "real world." I have a couple professors I strongly suspect are AS.
