That notion also crossed my mind that it might not be the father's age, but something about fathers that have children later in life. As my father passed on when I was eight years old (he was 66), I do not recall what he was like, but was in his 30's before he started having children. And I am 47 and have never had any children, and the prospects are zilch, because I don't even have status in my favor, let alone social skills. Even the interest is not really there.

Thank You! Has anyone been able to do a study on the average age of an autistic reproducing? I would be willing to bet there are fewer teen pregnancies there as well.
