(User Info | Send a Message) | | I met her in person. ANd I think she is a god send for the world of Autistic people. She is living proof that Autism is good for the world, not just some disorder. I get sick of people thinking of us as just some disorder. My internship was so focused on my lack of ability to pick up on nonverbal signals. They viewed me as flawed, and weak, but I did better with many of their Aspergers clients than they ever could! They will realize it is a strength one day! |
