re poetry I wrote a poetry book called Not Just anything published by Jessica Kingsley Publishers. It's been quotes in a number of studies and journals these days.... people finding things of interest in the poems.
Another well known autistic poet is Birger Sellin who is a functionally non-verbal man with typed communication. His work is very poignant.
Many autistic writers also write poetry. Perhaps the more romantic of us ;-)
