I had 2 clif bars, a bowl of cereal (raisin bran crunch), a Greek yogurt ,4 chocolates,cheezecake,half hamburger, some gum, 6 potato chips, a turkey sandwich ,water, and some milk. Did I eat too much today?
How can I increase my Metabolism?

Yes you did. And you ate all the wrong things too, but I'm sure you know that already. You can increase your metabolism only by doing sports.

The amount of calories consumed by the body to maintain its weight depends on the rate at which the body uses up material; and this in turn is related to the amount of physical activity. A guy naturally has a higher metabolic rate than a woman, and burns more calories, especially if they are young. Of course that’s no excuse for gluttony. The way to go is to be eating a balanced diet of all food groups, especially grains and protein which will provide sustained energy unlike sugary snacks. Water is also extremely important; the body needs four grams of water for each gram of protein.
As far as exercise goes it depends on personal preference.
(Wiki) Some studies [citation needed] suggest that a minimum of 20 to 25 minutes of cardiovascular training per day can temporarily increase the basal metabolic rate by around 10%, owing to an increase in the metabolism of the working muscles required for recovery as well as storage of glycogen and other fuel sources used by the body like ATP and Creatine.
