My community got a massive shock last tuesday. One of my school's most outstanding seniors committed suicide in a bathroom at school. We went into lockdown the second someone found out, then were evacuated down to the nearby middle school.

No one will ever forget the events of May 5, 2009 and neither will the senior class forget our classmate and friend Tom Kane. Tom was a class clown and the kind of person who didn't care what you looked like or if you had a disability or whatever. He was one of the few guys in my class that treated me like another human back in middle school and the first year of high school.

I don't know if this event made national news, but it certainly made local news. It may have made national but I don't know.

Tom, we will all miss you and I hope you found what you were looking for. Rest In Peace, TK.

Thats horrible. few people have been nice to me in my life but those who have i cherish. remember him and never forget! once in a while pour out some liquid for him!
