The Hermit (Quotation)

The Hermit points to all things hidden, such as knowledge and inspiration,hidden enemies. The illumination is from within, and retirement from participation in current events.
The Hermit is a card of introspection, analysis and, well, virginity. You do not desire to socialize; the card indicates, instead, a desire for peace and solitude. You prefer to take the time to think, organize, ruminate, take stock. There may be feelings of frustration and discontent but these feelings eventually lead to enlightenment, illumination, clarity.
The Hermit represents a wise, inspirational person, friend, teacher, therapist. This a person who can shine a light on things that were previously mysterious and confusing.

I am Alexander. Herein lie the chronicles of a part of my life that will be reliable to the best of my abilities. My life has in many ways been interesting; from other perspectives it might be considered dull. But verily the people who would consider it so have not in sooth lived my life, and can hardly expect to be deferred to as competent authorities upon the subject. It may be that my subjective perception of my life, lacking objectivity, may not be the most accurate reccord of my life, but it is difficult to find another one as close to comprehensive, as others only know certain aspects of my life. My memory may not be infallible, but I have been present for my entire life (to the best of my knowledge).
Well it is difficult to know where to begin.
My profound apologies about the preamble; I trust that it was not too circuitous in circumlocution. More later.
