posted at 08:36 pm on 11-01-2005

A brief overview of my adventures ofver the past 6 months. Fall came, started high school, met my nemesis, confronted my nemesis, got a restraining order placed between me and my nemesis, made some friends, made more friends, watch my house come up form the ground, made more enemies, made more friends, got grounded for a month and a half, learned how to draw manga, fixed my scooter, joined the Key Club, went to the haunted cornmaze, got the @#$%^&* scared out of me, voulnteered at the library, got some pumpkins, carved pumpkins, waited for Hallow's Eve, went trick-or-treating, had a friend think i had died (no kidding), made off like a bandit on Hallow's Eve candy, fell in love, am now waiting to close on new house, and SW3, HP4, Chicken Little, preparing for the holidays, and revealing the inner Jedi/hero within myself. PHEW! If you people nosy enough to read my blog want more detail, then PM me!

Tuesday night... at the park... Every day's the Fourth of July!
posted at 04:44 pm on 07-06-2005

It's been a while. First i would like to register my absolute fury over not being ble to light off the fireworks the nigt before last because of a rainstorm. Curses! But i feel better after lighting them off the following night. It was supposed to just be me and my family, and Mr. Robert, Mrs. Missy, and Lauren. But then James showed up, then Ben, then Mr. Stan and Austin. The fireworks were uneventful (If you can call the borderline nukes that Mr. Robert and Dad had lit off uneventful), with the small exception of the stunt i tried to pull by tying the fuses of two bottle rockets together and lighting them off at the same time. They hit each other in midair after leaving the launch chute and hit the ground exploding. We were about ready to get the fire exstinguisher. Anyways, i need to go, so So long... Goodbye... And isn't it a... Whaddya mean, i suck? You suck! Get your stupid-ACK!! Who threw that tomato?! What kind of #&^#% ^&@&$@ do you think you are?! Show yourself, you j-j-j-jj-jjj... Oh $%^$%@^, why are you coming towards me with your big muscles... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.... mmfff...mmmfff... MMMFFF!!!

Finally they got this stupid blog fixed. I've been waiting for this to happen for a half a year now. But i really have to go, so i'll make this short: I'm going to see Star Wars III today! I bought the tickets for my dad for Father's Day, so he and i both could go. Plus, my family and i are going on a vacation to either Melbourne, FL, or St. Louis, MO. We haven't decided yet. See ya!

I solemly swear that i am up to no good...
posted at 10:28 am on 06-19-2005

Lo, everyone. It's been a while since i've written in the blog, so here goes... Christmas in Saint Louis was a rather enjoyable experience, if you don't count taking forever due to inclement weather on the way up (ice in Memphis and snow in Cape Giradeau), and the fact that not a single snowflake fell during our stay in Missouri, while everything south of the Cape was locked in ice or buried in snow. Still, i had my fun at Capetown, where i nailed my dad in the kisser with a snowball while we were coming out of the Steak & Shake. My presents included Star Wars Battlefront for the PC, Shrek 2 and Harry Potter & the Pris. of Azkaban, both for the DVD (Hence, my title - the incantation to reveal the Marauder's Map in PoA) I also got a few nifty weather tools and - the best of all - A scaled-down, radio-controlled, three-channel, electric-powered model of the J-3 Cub. My first R/C plane! The problem is, my dad accidently used it for studying the effects of flying objects on arboreal life forms - namely, he crashed it into a tree. not just crashed it. he let it get blown away by the wind, out of range, and crashed it in the forest. we had to break through a grove of thornbushes to get it. (Sometimes i wish i had a machete.) Anyways, the wing was damaged in the crash, so it's out of action until we can order a new wing. Curse it! As for school, things are going pretty well. I'm getting along well with Jessie (There is a rumor that she broke up w/ her boyfriend recently...this may be my chance!) I forgot how fun school can be. Mrs. Davis is doing a Survivor spin-off contest in which your "tribe" gets points for neatness, attendance, good conduct, good grades, and participation, while they lose points for the opposite (Except for grades... she won't penalize failure as long as you tried your best). I think it shoud be more of a Harry Potter theme (After all, our "tribes" are exactly alike the four Hogwarts Houses) Anyways, it's late, so i will say good-night. Until then, mischief managed!

Trebuchet!!!!
posted at 11:22 pm on 03-15-2005

Well, its been a while, so i think i'll test this malfunctioning blog again. It is now spring break. I have to finish a science project for, well, science, so i'm building a catapult thingy called a trebuchet (don't ask what it is unless you want the pants bored off you.) Hence, the title. The only other thing that is eventful in my life at the cuurent moment is that we have, after much deliberation, put the old house on the real estate market. This is bad because we have to leave the house at certain times so the realtor can show off the house to potential buyers. The good news is that sometimes, if i'm home alone and the come, i can go over to my neighbor's house and she'll let me watch Cable TV, which i lack. Nuthin' but Anime Network On-Demand, all day, every day! Archmage, signing off!

To the City of Bartlett! (insert Lord of the Rings tune here)
posted at 03:42 pm on 12-12-2004

Come this summer, a half year from now, we march to the city of Bartlett! Yes, we are moving! (insert LOTR tune here) My mother decided that we are moving to Bartlett, before the next school year. she doesn't want me to go to Cordova High (insert Isengard tune here) because it is a very rough crowd over there, and she wants me to stay in the county school sytem and Cordova is in the city school system. And she does not want me to go to Bartlett High (insert Barad-dur tune here) because they are all crackheads over there. Yes, i will miss many people, including Jessie (insert Arwen Evenstar tune here) and my best friend Cassandra (insert Galadriel tune here), but there are a few people that i will not miss, like the South End Gang (insert Nazgul tune here). I don't think it will affect my Internet address, though, so i will still see you all. So goodbye, and may the luck of the Elves, Dwarves, Men, and Hobbits be with you! (insert Beginning of Fellowship of the Ring tune here)

Dance Dance Revolution...
posted at 07:59 pm on 12-04-2004

No, i'm not talking about a video game. rather, i am talking about the real dance that i went to this Friday. The Homecoming Dance for Spirit Week. The one thing that convinced me that Jessie really likes me. i started off going by myself, and met up with Jessie and her two friends, Kristen and Savannah, at the dance. (and i swear, Savannah's outfit completely shattered the dress code guidelines  ) I was suprised to see that Jessie paid more attention to me than her date. the only time i was left out was during the Partner Limbo and Slow Dance compeititions. She even playfully flicked water in my face when we were at the fountains (and didn't complain when i flicked her back). then she actually said bye to me when she left about a minute befor the dance ended. i mean, she left her date, singled me out, and told me goodbye before leaving. Is there a few omens i am missing here? Did i make a miscalculation with the star charts? Is my crystal orb malfunctioning? Did i shuffle the tarot cards wrong? what ever i did, i think she has caught me off guard. she actually is warming up to me, and i completely missed it. i need to think things over over a good night's sleep, so sayonara. You heard right! You're lookin' at the Spelling Bee Champion for my school! (And no, it didn't have anything to do with M-A-G-I-C.) I stayed in competition for an hour befor the runner up missspelled the word S-Q-U-A-B-B-L-E, and i got it right and the word W-I-T-H-D-R-A-W-A-L. B-E-A-T T-H-A-T!!! I got a fancy T-R-O-P-H-Y and the chance to participate in the city bee. I had to avoid the S-O-U-T-H E-N-D G-A-N-G on my way home when they tried to gang up on me to steal my T-R-O-P-H-Y. It resulted in the transter of a few E-X-P-L-E-T-I-V-E-S and almost caused a physical C-O-N-F-R-O-N-T-A-T-I-O-N. Those S-T-U-P-I-D B-*-*-*-*-*-*!!! I E-V-E-N-T-U-A-L-L-Y got home whith my trophy, and am now writing this M-E-S-S-A-G-E. G-O-O-D N-I-G-H-T. A-R-C-H-M-A-G-E.

The fun begins...
posted at 08:46 pm on 12-01-2004

Well, well, well, i think that things are going well. i accidently-on-purpose let slip to Jessie about what i think about her. she became a heckuvalot friendlier towards me, and i left the school feeling immensely confident in myself... even enough to leave the South End gang silent for a full thirty seconds after i gave them a verbal thrashing. my fate has just taken a turn for the better...

Curses!
posted at 05:45 pm on 11-30-2004

Well, i was asking for it. I just asked out two of the most good-looking girls in the grade- and i don't need to tell you the obvious. At least Jessie said thanks when i asked her. I'll just have to either A) Pick a fight with her boyfriend, or B) Keep my ear to the grapevine and move more quickly next time. As for Kristen, i knew she was a lost cause; she's going to the dance with my friend Grant. i just asked her in desperation when Jessie turned me down. Now how the heck am i going to get to the dance? Lonely heart, aka Archmage

Allied Mission Log: Entry 1 - They never existed!
posted at 08:49 pm on 11-27-2004

Foward to President Dougan: Lo, everyone. just finished my homework, so i decided to battle the Soviet Union in virtual warfare. Note the word "virtual". The game is Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2. I was Korea, which can use the powerful Black Eagle fighter jets for airstrikes. My opponent was Russia, which could use the powerful Tesla Tanks to cause havoc. We played on a user created map. Things were quiet at first, with our power steadily growing, until i revealed the enemy base with a Spy Satillite. Then he retaliated by building a Nuclear Missle Silo, which gave me 10 minutes to destroy the Silo before a missle was launched. i tried my best to do so, building a Naval Shipyard, and then cranking out Destroyers and an Aircraft Carrier. but alas, i did not get there in time. i was forced to repack my Construction Yard into a Mobile Construction Vehicle and move it to the other side of my island to avoid the blast. The missle destroyed my Ore Purifier and War factory, cutting my currency and preventing me form building vehicles. However, i was able to spend what credits i had to rebuild and repair. then i sent my Aircraft Carrier and half of my Destroyers to destroy the Silo and their Construction Yard. I then wiped out the rest of their buildings with a lightning storm released from my Weather Control Device. i then played around with my Chronosphere (a device used to transport vehicles through space and possibly even time) while i generated enough Chrono Legionnares to overwhelm the leftover forces. then , i massed my Legionnares on the point on my island closest to the other island, and ordered them to teleport to the other island using tiny Chronospheres on their backs. they lured the forces toward them and blasted them with neutron cannons, erasing them all from the time-space continum and assuring my victory. In the eternal words of my lead Chrono Legionnare, "They never existed!" Gen. Carville, aka Archmage

All right, who did it?!
posted at 07:45 pm on 11-26-2004

Who did it?! Which foolish idiot messed up the time-space continum so that it felt like a week since my last psot here, yet two whole months have passed?! Dang, how time flies. oh, hi everyone. today is the day after Thanksgiving, and i cant really remember all that's happened for the passed two months(thanks to the messed-up time-space continum). but let me show you what has happened... i managed to pull off most of the week before thanksgiving w/o having to hurt someone ([joke]although there were some close calls[/joke]), and on wednesday, i went with Dad to a Memphis Grizzlies game at the FedEx Forum. They lost by ten to the Seattle Sonics, but the game was fun([joke]especially the cheerleaders![/joke]). then we had thanksgiving dinner on thursday w/ some of dads college friends. Then, after the feast, we all enjoyed a game of Risk (a world conquest game), where i promptly got my butt kicked by my dad(who lost a lot of troops taking me down  ). but dad, in his hurry to wipe me off the board, left only a small amount of troops to defend himself, and got wiped off the board himself by Gabby. then, Gabby beat up her fiance(who had africa, but only by a thread), and won. Today, my dad and I went to the movie rental and got Around The World in 80 Days and Eloise at Christmastime (my sister's choice). and then, dad had to go investigat a hazmat spill that happened during a train derailment in Jackson. And that's all. Archmage, signing off.!
