I am ChrisVulcan and this is my first blog entry. The topic I feel like talking about today is the word "never".
I am a conservative Christian, and I definitely believe God has a sense of humor. Check this out and see if you disagree after watching it :D

One of the things I think God likes to do is to sit around and wait for someone to say that something will *never* happen. I am an English teacher at a small school (more on that later), and one of the other teachers used be a director of human resources. She always says that the reason she became involved in HR is because coming out of college, she swore she would do *anything* but work in HR.
When I was in elementary school, I changed to another school that was behind in the english and grammar classes. The result was in me spending about four years learning parts of speech, which was one of the most tortuous experiences of my life! I already had an interest in becoming a teacher, and one day I was so exasperated that I promised, "I don't care what I end up doing; I will never teach grammar." I start teaching grammar, including parts of speech, this fall.
