Hi

I need to vent.

I'm protective of my Mum and one of her 'friends' hurt her by telling her something nasty. A friend of this 'friend' said (behind my Mum's back) that she didn't go on holiday with my Mum because she thought my Mum was pedantic.

I looked up this word in the dictionary to make sure I knew the meaning (obsessed with planning and plans). This is totally inaccurate. I was there when the two of them were discussing their holiday, Mum said (many times) "Whatever you want to do we'll do".

Either the woman has no knowledge of what the word means or the 'friend' was being really mean by telling Mum a lie. I'm really angry about this, I don't like lies and I don't like people hurting my Mum. I really want to talk to both of these women and tell them off for hurting her but I know that this would not be socially acceptable.

What is the socially acceptable way to solve this?

Well, first blog entry over.
