Arrived in Scotland 12 days ago and love the UK. I am so grateful to have an academic home-base; laboratory facility and related environment are what I've needed/wanted. In the interim, experiencing logistical/procedural difficulties but should be resolved by later this week. My official start date is 23/09 and I've needed this time to settle in. I cross the deep and dark River Kelvin from my place (Kelvinhaugh Gate) to my science site on campus.
