Son dx with Aspergers yesterday.
posted at 01:09 pm on 02-09-2008

I really can not say I am new to all of this, as we have been going on the believe that all three of my children have SPD, however as of yesterday we now know that one of them actualy has Aspergers.

I noticed when he was a year that he was not talking that much, okay hardley at all, so we entered early intervention for speach, soon after arouned 1.5 i noticed small things he hated the feel of grass, woud not walk on it at all. When he got upset it was very hard to calm down. So we went in for an OT eval and found that he had SPD, at which time both his brother and sister were dx with it as well.

well now here we are he will be turning four n a month, i noticed at Christmas that his behavior was getting worse and he was just not doing well in a social enviornment. He had modulation issues, has no self control and can does not have the ability to self calm at all. He also does not cross midline.

so here we are with our dx, trying to get answers and find out where we go from here.
