surface piercing

I got a surface piercing on my lower belly. I have literally just had it done like 15 minutes ago.
I completely lost my command of language in there...the guy noticed...he asked where I was from, 'under a rock?' I was tempted to say, 'I'm from ASDland, I'm not good with words'....I didn't though...had a mild panic attack...then felt really high and druggy from all the adrenaline. I'm still trying not to laugh hysterically.

I turned 19 today. Seems kind of a cool number, on the other hand, I feel so old.

Neuro-Deviant

So myself , my mum and another AS'er were trying to think of a single word for someone with ASD that doesn't sound negative, and one of us, I don't remember which, thought of "Neuro-Deviant".
It doesn't mean deviant as in criminal or disruptive. It's meant in the sense of free thinker or nonconformist.
Like our neologism?
