Why are Asperger people seen as cash cows?
posted at 08:02 pm on 10-19-2006

Once you turn 18, that's it everyone seems to think you are a easy target, particularly those who try to live as independently as possible. You have this diagnosis, to many people a diagnosis means MONEY. Even those people who don't know about my Aspergers and have no buisness knowing, seem to have this uncanny abilty to "notice" that there may be something about me, and the pound signs roll up in their eyes. Dos anyone else out there feel this way?
