Nice to find someplace where people finally understand me

I really wish a place like this existed 14 years ago when I was diagnosed with NLD/Aspergers. My life has been a living unconfident hell where I constantly second guess myself, and grovel for attention, not knowing how to even make smalltalk and shmooze -- costing me many opportunities. Now I'm on track to being a college professor and have to do well. The stakes are high. Again, it's nice to see something like this here. I just hope it's not too late for me at 28.
